A Blissful Life: Member Spotlight Series is a chance for us to connect with women in the Blissful Warriors Facebook community about their wellness journey. These women have an inspirational story that led them to their bliss and they want to connect with other women and share their experiences. Please say hello to this month’s member spotlight: Kalyn Mould 🙂
1. Welcome! Please Introduce yourself (and your business if you have one).
Hey dream makers! I’m Kalyn of The Workbook Project and I create tools to help you build a brand and life you love. I provide creative business planning for goal getters, makers, boutique brands, bloggers, butt kickers and visionaries, like you.
2. Tell us: what does blissful living mean to you?
Blissful living can be broken down into two vital elements. The first step is to find your joy in every moment. Whether soaking up the sunshine, at the farmers market, on a run or dancing your heart out, do the things that make you happy every single day. Discovering the little, every day joys that bring you bliss will help you integrate them into every aspect of your life. I don’t believe there should ever be a separation between the stuff that makes you feel blissful and your regular routine. They should be one! The second step is to live your creative purpose. Whether you’re a coach, artist, writer, designer, teacher or student, find the medium that lights you up and make a commitment to creating a nurturing environment for your passions to grow and thrive.
3. Do you have a wellness journey that you would like to share to inspire other women?
Over the past five years, I’ve made a promise to myself to live the most explosively meaningful, good feeling life possible. A question I ask myself to make sure I’m following my inner compass is, “Is this in my highest and best good?” If the answer is hell yes, I move forward with passionate fury.
At 24, I quit drinking. At 25, I quit smoking. At 26, I learned that the power of early mornings can radically change your life. I started running. I learned to treat my body as my temple and nourish it with foods that make me feel alive. I enrolled in yoga training, prayed for miraculous shifts and saw my world transform before my eyes. I quit my job that made me feel like shit. I raised my standards, and the universe met me there.
At 28, I learned to tune in. I learned to praise the divine feminine within us all. I learned that sex should be holy, earth shattering, sacred. I learned that we’re incredibly, powerfully, extraordinarily worthy of everything we desire, and more.
At almost 30, I’m still a work in progress. I still stumble around, feeling my way around the muck, grasping at my truth. And I cherish every moment.
4. How do you help other women find bliss in their lives (friend / family / clients)?
I help women find clarity of purpose. Whether through one on one mentoring, workshops or coaching programs, my mission is to help be the catalyst to massive, positive breakthroughs in your lives.
5. If you have a business / website / wellness passion, tell us what led you to start your business / website / wellness passion?
The Workbook Project, my passion project, started off as a platform to tell my story. To connect with my tribe, explore my purpose and serve as a platform from which I could inspire and teach others to live the life of their dreams.
6. What routines, habits, beliefs, or other things help you live a blissful life?
Over the years, I’ve become totally obsessed with books, magazines, blogs, talks and podcasts that teach us to become better people. Whether through creativity, our businesses, spiritually, our health or our habits, anything that helps us grow nourishes our ability to serve each other.
7. Just for Fun: What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I’m just like you. Imperfectly, beautifully human. I feel one of the most important things to acknowledge about each of our wellness journeys is that we’re never done. There is no finish line. Our desires, dreams and goals are constantly transmuting and evolving and there’s always going to be a degree of struggle. The good news is, we’re in this together.
8. Do you have anything special you would like to share with my readers?
I’ll be launching my very first Dream Building Bootcamp in January, 2017. Let’s get ready to party, y’all. This 6-week course is for doers and dream makers ready to turn their passion or brand vision into a living, breathing business. This course is designed to help you get clear about what your dream business looks like and define the steps to get you there. Registration opens soon! XO, Kalyn
